Favorite NP: Yellowstone

Favorite Hike: Harry’s Ridge Trail - Mount St. Helens National Monument

Believes in: Bigfoot

In my free time: Reading, traveling

Growing up in New England and surrounded by the New Hampshire wilderness, Danielle grew up with a love and affinity for the outdoors. In 2011, a family vacation to Yellowstone and a fated visit to the book section of the Visitors Center turned out being the seed that grew into NPAD. Death in Yellowstone combined all of her greatest interests – morbid history, a beloved national park and the stories that fill hundreds of years of park history.

Speaking of the macabre – Danielle resonates with all things morbid. Never one to shy away from the dark side, her favorite stories to share center around tales that make us cringe, yet leave us wanting more. A firm believer in standing by your interests and keeping an open mind, no matter how “strange”, she is an unwavering believer in the paranormal, extraterrestrial life, and bigfoot.

Wildlife conservation and animal advocacy have driven her professional life. By working as a wolf advocate, veterinary nurse and now, by sharing stories of our most treasured natural landscapes- she hopes to spread the importance of conserving wild places and the beings we share them with.

Hi, my name is Cassie. I grew up in New Hampshire and found my love of the outdoors at a very young age. It was in 2015 when I found my love for National Parks when I visit Yosemite for the very first time. I love the beauty these landscape have to offer along with the history that lies behind those beautiful views.

My favorite stories to tell of these parks are those of survival in the grueling outdoors. I also love to research the long histories behind the creations of these parts and the people who have laid their mark here.

Ive made the outdoors and traveling a large priority in my life. I spend a lot of time hiking and solo hikes are my favorite. I love all the seasons, winter being one of my favorite! I love to hike and snowboard in the wintertime and during the summers I love to take my dual sport motorcycle out onto the trails.

Ive traveled to over 20 different countries and visit 49 states in the U.S. , but realistically to travel everywhere is on my list.
